About

Since I started working as a motion designer I´ve had a thing for architecture and maps. Their geometrical representation of the evolving organism that cities are, with all the life and passions they contain within, always mesmerized me.

I used them as storytelling devices, but I always wanted to make their beauty shine without any purpose beyond themselves.

One day, to present the assets used in one of my motion films, I took the sections of some city maps and portrayed them as cropped scale models. Suddenly, they became inspiring and wholesome art objects.

Their reduced and imperfect representation of these cities sections conveyed a deep and calm understanding of the urban design that frames of our lives.

So I decided to spend some time creating and sharing this love and inspiration.
